The basis of this action is to detect ideas for transnational R&D&i projects, search for partners for them in non-EU countries and to draft proposals for these projects within the framework of CDTI international cooperation projects (bilateral). The potential partners will be located in countries that have cooperation agreements in place for the performance of this type of projects with CDTI: Korea (KSI), India (ISI), Canada (Canadeka), China (Chinela) and Latin America (Iberoeka).
This action is closely linked to and is a consequence of the technological diagnoses carried out in twenty companies. The objective of this action is the performance of eight international cooperation projects.

The technological diagnoses action has thus far generated 14 ideas for the performance of transnational R&D&i projects, the structure of which will be defined by the interests of each company and the viability of each project idea. Of these ideas, eight projects should actually be carried out, which will be in addition to all of the organisational and technological recommendations given to the companies.
2. Access to technical experts in order to dynamise R&D proposalsThe project to identify and set up bilateral projects is being carried out with the direct involvement of a team of nine individuals from an expert consultancy who contribute their cross-cutting technical experience and add an international element to the project.
With the support of these individuals, the aim of the project to dynamise R&D in the region through the performance of international cooperation projects becomes more tangible and the difficulties in accessing this type of aid are minimised.
3. FinancingIt is a fact that financing for the development of everyday activities is currently being restricted in companies.
Hence, access to interest-free loans through CDTI projects is an opportunity for companies in La Rioja that they should not overlook. With this type of project, the estimated equivalent grant is considerably high, depending on the type of project.
These projects are geared towards fostering growth through R&D and encouraging the diversification of business.
The main aim of this type of project is to minimise the company’s risk in our globalised market, where adapting to changes and trends is essential if companies are to survive. Most importantly, these projects help to promote the company’s activity on an international scale, thus allowing it to reach markets beyond the local, regional or national spheres.
The funding for defining the project idea, searching for partners and preparing the project proposal is provided by the Globaltech programme.
